Pearl of Wisdom # 53 Sending Out Minutes
We all know it is very important to send out the minutes of any public meeting in a timely manner, but we sometimes forget ...
Only two delegates to the Continental Congress actually signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776: John Hancock and Charles Thomson.
Most of the delegates did not sign the Declaration of Independence until August 2 and the last signature was not added until 1781 - five years later.
